\n23 years old is the minimum age requirement for using cars of categories A,B,C and D; 25 years of age is the minimum age requirement for the rest of car categories. Maximum age is 75.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Renter is required to produce a credit card as a guarantee for the rental, even if payment is made in cash. Rental is prepaid. Accepted Credit\/ Debit Card are Visa and Mastercard.<\/p>\n
\nProduction of a valid license for driving in the Greek territory and the E.U., issued at least 1 year prior to the rental\u2019s starting date, is required. Citizens of countries outside the E.U. are required to be in possession of a driver\u2019s license valid both in Greece and in the European Union, or otherwise holders of an international driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
\nAvance cars are covered by 24-hours road assistance. Road assistance\u2019s contact details are stated on the rental contract.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe renter has to return the car with the same quantity of fuel it had when collected. In case the car is returned with a quantity of fuel less than the original (namely, less than the quantity of fuel the vehicle had when collected by the customer), the customer shall be charged with the fuel difference. No customer refund is provided in case of the car returned with a quantity of fuel greater than that collected. Vehicles are delivered with a minimum quantity of fuel, corresponding to \u00bc of the reservoir.<\/p>\n
\nIn case of an accident, the customer is charged with 37\u20ac for the accident file administration costs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nIf it is proven in the end that the replacement of the vehicle is not deemed necessary, then the lessee will be charged with transportation costs.<\/p>\n
\nTraffic tickets and fines due to violations of the Highway Code are borne by the Renter. In addition, the Renter undertakes the payment of management costs, where required.<\/p>\n
\nLow Season:<\/strong> Cancellation of a reservation must be done at least same day prior to the scheduled date and hour of commencement of the vehicle\u2019s rental (always according to the exact hour of reservation), as this has been made in the company\u2019s reservations system with no extra charge. High Season<\/strong> (Pick up July – August): In case of a cancellation notice received by Avance less than fourty eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the vehicle\u2019s, there shall be 50% of total amount cancellation fee applied.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nDeliveries and collections out of stations take place upon request by the customer. The extra charge for deliveries-collections within cities is 15\u20ac+VAT, while for out-of-town deliveries-collections, the cost is 25\u20ac+VAT, plus 1.45\u20ac+VAT per km.<\/p>\n
\nFirst additional driver is free of charge. Second or more drivers with additional charge. The maximum number of drivers is set at 3 persons.<\/p>\n
\nThe charge for child seat is set at 5\u20ac\/day upon request by the customer and based on the company\u2019s availability; the maximum charge is set at 50\u20ac\/rental.<\/p>\n

\nFree mileage is provided for rentals of more than 3 days\u2019 duration. For rentals of a duration less than 3 days, prices include a 100 km\/day limitation. In the latter case, should the renter wish for free mileage, it can opt for the free mileage package, at a charge according to the pricelist applicable from time to time. Otherwise, for each additional kilometer over and above 100km\/day, the customer will be charged, upon return of the vehicle, with an amount of 0.05\u20ac+VAT per kilometer for passenger cars, or with 0.15\u20ac+VAT per km for minivans.<\/p>\n\n

\nIn case the Vehicle breaks down on an island, Avance will not be able to provide a replacement locally. The rental vehicle will have to, if possible, be repaired locally in case of mechanical damage and any expenses will be refunded upon client’s return once all necessary invoices issued to our corporate details is provided. In any case, the renter must contact Avance before proceeding to any actions and advise the cost of the damage.
\nIf the rental vehicle is immobilized, the renter will be responsible to arrange and pay for the transfer of the car to the nearest land destination, to which will be provided with a replacement vehicle.<\/p>\n
